Amy Hodge is an Olivier Nominated theatre and film director. She has directed in some of the most prestigious venues in the country including The National Theatre, The Globe, The Young Vic, and The Royal Exchange she directed Little Shop Of Horrors at Sheffield Crucible Christmas 2024 to critical acclaim.
She is currently developing her first feature film which she is co-writing with Bethan Marlow, funded by Film Cymru which is based on their proof of concept BFI Funded / Film London short The Date that premiered at London Film Festival 2023.
Her recent production of Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World ran at The Other Palace in London’s West End (2024) having had 4 UK No. 1 tours and winning the UK Theatre Award for Best Show for Families and Young Audiences 2022
Amy works part time for The Roald Dahl Story Company, working with Netflix on the Creative Development of IP across Stage and Live Experiences. She has also worked extensively in the prison system and taught in drama schools Other work
